Kennett River Caravan Park is located a short 2.5 hours from Melbourne, between Lorne and Apollo Bay, on the internationally famous Great Ocean Road. The backdrop of Kennett River is the renowned Otway Ranges, where you can take a variety of walks that will take you through the magnificent scenery, following the winding flow of the rivers. Or take a hike around the corner from the park to watch the koalas and their babies sleeping in the fork of a eucalpyt. Pack a picnic and sit and watch the wildlife intermingle with each other in trees that are hundreds of years old. There are numerous scenic drives winding through the forests around the region as well. Just across from the park is the beach, where waves roll in to a sandy sheltered bay.

Just laze around and read a good book, have an exhilerating swim, fish off the rocks, explore the rockpools, or surf the waves....... whatever your adventure or desire.

If you're in the mood for a bit of shopping or a lazy latte, just head up to Apollo Bay or Lorne and experience the magnificent scenery that pans out as you wind your way along the coast.

For those a little bit more adventurous, Cape Otway lighthouse is a must see for anyone This is the scene of somemajor shipwrecks.
